Hi Michael,

Well, personally I would recommend Code 100 rail... It really depends what kind of stock you are planning to run... As the Code 75 rail is finer than the 100, I assume that you may encounter some problems if you were to run older-type stock on it...

Also, is the layout going to be DCC controlled ? If so, then I would suggest electro-frog points, so not to isolate any sections. If you are going analogue, its all down to personal choice really.

For example, I have always used analogue control, with insulfrog points (Code 100) . And for the new digital layout, I am going to stick with Code 100 trackwork, but change the points over to electro-frog, as I want to have all of the track 'live'.
