good to hear sum1 is going Sir Haydn in Preserved Corris Livery, this will be interesting, btw are you using a bachmann 0-4-0 chassis, n drive chassis or a 0-4-0 Flieshmann chassis? the flieshmann seems to fit and look best with the chivers kit.

BTW How could you go on knowing me without telling me that Blaqk Audio is Davey and Jade from AFI... :P you cruel person... and I love AFI .... and now Blaqk Audio

didn't know you would like them! MUTE is the best song ever!

im using the bachmann, i found the fits without any modding atall! and for some reason im quite attached to the looks of it, even though the ffleishmann looks mor prototype, ill be getting the paint today for sir haydn.

yeah AFI used to be my favourate band, until the used!

ive repainted Sir Haydn, waiting for lining now, the colour is pretty nice! really suits it, my static grass order hasnt came threw yet, so i havent done much else 'cept add greenwich couplings to coaches.

as for cleaning, i use a 100% granite pencil, rub it on the track and wheels and it will clean, and with a great conductive layer aswell, giving very good running, and no more bits from the rubber, piece of crap that was..the pencil also gets points working after ballasting etc

Blaqk!

I'm back! (from my time of not posting in the PL section... lol) I must say very nice work! I love the layout, and the details.

I think I might be getting somewhere in terms of my layout... I finally picked a period! :D BR(S)/ Preservation :P

Update - Welcome Home boys

nice to have you guys back from your journeys afar! but sadly, i have not been able to model up to the point of the halt THIS ISNT MY FAULT! the reason is simple, i ordered grass just after you left, and it hasnt arrived yet! also the old station ran flat out of ballast!, but i have done ALOT of other work:
the car park is finished
the river and bridge is finished
the sea is finished
greenwich couplings have been added to pretty much everything
Sir Haydn is now in a dark red/brown and lined yellow
sand is finished and stone wall added
facia boards added to the front
station sign added
etc...
ill let the photos do the talking

caravan park, ive decided to change the halt into a small station, based pretty strongly on Rhydyroen. so thats going to be soon, depending on when ontracks sends me my grass!

Brilliant, and as you said sexy, Finished the skin on MTF, so when Tom approoves you, you can see, your layout made the part too well :P just sexual ;)

cant wait to see how the river area will turn out, the water looks really good, btw did you use the Woodland Scenics E-Z water? because it attracts dust, alot. most people tend to cover it with varnish afterwards.

the only thing I can say is the track near the bridge is a lil too close to the back scene, most people try to avoid that but your layout still looks mint anyway so shouldnt be a problem.

KK Btw youve been accepted, try and get used to where things are before randomly posting. When you find the right part, post stuff bout ur layout, they'll die in shock, trust me ;) btw remember you said that you had a Tom Rolt kit? and then you said you mixed it with a Peco Varikit... and showed a pic of only part of the Peco Varikit painted red :P any chance of pics of the kit if you still got it? it interests me :P
