Chaps, chaps...

It is a tank engine.

It has been out for quite a while.

It is not an 0-6-0!

Ah Ha, you got a V1/V3 to replace the one with the duff axle.

Well done that man! A V3 it is.

Sadly, that's a tender engine...another D49 would be nice, though (hint hint, Mr Kohler, you who seem to like 4-4-0s at the moment...!)

Emm... the answer is in the post immediately preceding yours!
And, as I pointed out in that post, and in one preceding it, I specified a tank engine. Neither the Director nor the Hunt/Shire qualify as such!

With slight exasperation,

Please stop spamming my thread with inanity.

That is distinctly troll-like behaviour, and it has no place here.

Hattons emailed this morning with news that they are offering what seems to be a stupendous bargain. Bachmann is releasing a new Collett Goods in '(extremely) Lightly Weathered' BR black (early crest), and it is expected to be in stock in 2 weeks. Hattons are asking only £44 for it

When was the last time you saw a brand-new tender locomotive go for that price? It's the deal of the year. (And no, I have no affiliation with Hattons!)

Full details here.

Regards,
Gavin

That's a ludicrous price for a brand new model! Shame they aren't releasing it in GWR green, then I might just be tempted myself to buy one for a 'through working'... Definitely deal of the year so far, and great spot!

It's not that amazing it's around about what you should pay for a GWR 2251, at Warley Bachmann were shifting them for £35 each, I should know my mate got one and I was tempted but didn't have enough spare cash on me at the time.
I'm back and now I model in 'Strain your eyes gauge'...

I think Castle Cross might get one of those (once I've paid off my debtS :? ) (and I dont care if its in the wrong era livery, I'll just have to find a new body for it, simples! )

great find

Hi folks

I'm returning to NI tomorrow, so hopefully over the next two weeks there will be photos of progress and updates to show you, but in the meantime, here are the last few Christmas pics for you to enjoy.
