Nice work/pics :D

If anything, tone down the black. Stations tend to be a greyish colour!

But nice work anyway! 8)

... its actually a dark grey, looks a bit darker in the photos.

I have been to one or two stations in my time, BTW

I'm in the process of adding oil-stain representation between the sleepers. To be entirely correct I suppose I should also include soggy tissues and rancid turds in OO scale. But I don't think I'll bother ...

Here's the plan for the colliery line. It will pass through a short tunnel under Green Lane; the road will turn at 90 degrees from its current position.

There will be a passing loop on the colliery access road, to allow for coal trains to ... er .... pass. The incline will start at the bottom of this picture.

A view of the approx depot track plan as it stands. Red rectangle is the shed. The 50s are sitting on what will be the colliery access road.

Lofty, imagine you are on the bus (!), at the point the road finishes at the moment there will be a right bend, it will cross over the railway which passes underneath via the tunnel I mentioned. Road will exit off-stage at the same height.

Great-looking work there Dave. Very life-like. I love the weathering on the bridge and the platform sides,

John.

Excellent as ever Retro. The depot is really taking shape and the layout is looking nearer to completion rather than further from the begining...if you see what I mean...

Cheers

I love this layout.
It's runs very close to my kind of thinking.
I do like the way you hit an area full on till it is finished. I tend to do a bit here and there all over the layout, therefore nothing gets finished.
Question - Do you sit back and watch trains go round sometimes?
2 trains, 2 railroad tracks, one going the other one coming back. Click Clack, Click Clack.

Andy
