What you have done is put a tick in the box below the posting box that says "Disable BBCode in this post" - if you take that out then it will work

hi all you model fans :lol: does anyone know what these coaches are im gonna be putting them on ebay
i hate them
:x they allways come apart :x
they sound like they are allways off the track but theyre not
they are old the bogies are rivited to the coach frame think triang
old coupleings metal
blood and custard

Hi Tom

They are old Triang Railways 'Shortie' MkIs. I have still got three of the four (sadly, the restaurant car fell to peices!) that I got for Xmas in 1973, my first ever 'train set' :) I'm guessing yours are a tad older as mine had the later tension lock couplings.

I'm hoping to convert mine (They're knackered but I don't want to sell them) into a rake of track-cleaning carriages...though at the moment I've not set on a design.

No, I've not used them in any pix thus far as they are, as I say, a wee bit knackered! They are simply sitting patiently in a box, waiting until the day I make time to mend and alter them :)

nice photos, although for close up shots you need to be setting it to macro, it will focus on extreme close up shots and looks the part!

if argos are still doing the offer the flying scotsman came with 3 wagons.
not so sure with the royal scot and mainline steam.

hi ive seen pics of the station overroof one spanning 3 tracks and one spanning 2 tracks how??????????
i want mine to fit 3 tracks and i would like to know how its done
