New Railway Modellers Virtual Exhibition 8 November 2007

Postby sanctuary » Sun Nov 25, 2007 4:44 pm

There seems to have been a natural theme develop in this edition, as a lot of the layouts have installed Martins excellent lights. So in honour of Martins lights I had to find an appropriate song and singer, Hence Sarah BRIGHTMAN get it  not every ones cup of tea but sit back with one and hopefuly you'll enjoy it.

P.s. Youtube is its usual slow download you need to pause it before watching to get the best of the music and pictures running non stop, the first link is google video it runs with out pausing but the quality is not as good.

Yes, thanks for taking the time to put together another virtual exhibition. I can't believe how many layouts I have missed.

Great effort!

Nice work again Aidan. Some cracking shots and some layouts I've missed as haven't got the time anymore to peruse all the threads. Great stuff - thanks.

Great work with the video as usual 8)

Can anyone help me out with a HST I saw on the Video at 3.33, its got 370 002 on the front.

Can you buy this or has the owner done his own modifications ??

Must catch up with the personal layout threads as there is some I have not seen so far.

Andrew
I buy trains because I like them, and I know that bit should not go there. But I`m happy.

Hey, the loco is a Hornby APT Advanced Passenger Train, made by Hornby in the early eighties. Rare-ish now, and rather over-priced on ebay. There are 2 versions, one with full yellow ends, as in the photo, and one with black window surrounds. Hope this helps !!!

And thanks for featuring my layout in the video !! Excellent stuff !!

Thanks both for your help. I wont use ebay myself but will keep an eye out for them.

Can you post a few more pics when you get the chance on your thread please.

If Hornby have the tooling why havnt they redone this model since the early 80`s, hopefully it will come out again soon even if only limited.

Thanks and sorry for hijacking the thread.

No problem it's happened before with other Virtual Exhibitions in the past were some one has seen something and asked a question, its another good reason to carry on making them, although I'm going to spend less time and make fewer of them from now on.
