Hi Graeme

I love these first couple of pix. I love 'em even more because, low and behold, there is a picture of a NSE livery too 8) They have to be my favourite EMUs and I miss them terribly. I went to Portsmouth a few months ago from Waterloo and although the new 444s have their merits, it just didn't feel the same, lol!

Hope we get a fw more pix on here soon mate

With pictures like that you will get a very warm welcome to the Forum. You could have broke us in gently with some old bare boards or something :lol:

I look forward to further details of trackplan and how old the "relatively new " layout is, etc.

Many thanks for all the compliments.

The roads are made from painted cardboard with packing pieces under to give a camber. And the
pavements also are from cardboard covered with pavement paper while the kerb stones are
strips of evergreen plastic.

The layout is new - it still isn't quite finished. I'm currently building the control panel for the depot
area. Here's some pics of the baseboards while under construction;
