Thats a nice bit of weathering.
I like the way the running gear looks covered in brake dust but the body has remained almost clean.
I'd get to worried if I tried to weather my stuff :?

Bit more weathering today...

I went a bit heavy on the front of the class 25... but the sides are ok.

I managed to knock the warship off my dining room table today... but luckily it landed on the rug, and no external damage ! Just the weights came loose inside !! :?

very good. When I first got back into this hobby the thought of having dirty locos horrified me but the more that I see of other peoples work the more I like the idea of weathering.

Today, I have mostly been making a siding look overgrown... and put some lights on the platform.... I'm wondering if they look a bit silly as they are actually streetlights.... or wouldnt you notice? They have to be better than those horrible square holes that cover hornby platforms...

I quite like the last shot as it shows a carriage maintenance platform, do you have a siding just for your coaches?
Dare I ask for a track plan>?

its good, very good. I can just about handle dry brushing (years of wargaming taught me that) never tried airbrushing though, so any weather tends to be 'dusty' as opposed to the grime you have. very nice.

Peak , I dont have a trackplan im afraid.... I should get one drawn up really.

Yes its a carriage maintenance platform, but I generally use that siding to keep the DMU in when its not in use. I dont have sidings for all the coaches, although there is one massive siding for the HST !

Have recently acquired a Dapol Sprinter, does anyone know of any detailing packs that are available?

Been doing some work on the 'other' end of the layout... Cant really think what to do with this end, so I am doing a bit of landscaping tonight with some foam and Mod Roc. I think its going to end up with a few trees and generally make the sidings look a bit dis-used.

Im not liking my shiny rails and am considering weathering them to make them appear rusty.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated! I'm a bit un-inspired at the moment as to what to do next !!! :)

Today I've been building this raised section of the town, I'm thinking of having some kind of pretend siding going into a half relief warehouse/industrial type scene on it...
