Phew, look at the size of those hillocks! And what a good looking digger.

I quite like the pictures of the layout too.

Eastfield North is to close.
BR couldn't resist the price offered by property developers. (Rumours about P'Way trackwork could have been true…)
All loco's will transfer back to Eastfield until a solution can be found.

That's a real shame. This was one of the layouts which persauded me to go back to OO.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Eastfield North was what a scaled down version of what I really wanted. I was settling for second best. The wooden structures that hold up the layout aren't up to the standard I wanted. The ballasting took forever and was by-and-large my first experience, which has effected the points. Other niggling problems have forced me to reflect on what I should do - so dismantling is in progress.

I do have plans for another layout, but at the moment nothing is concrete. I will post here if I have anything to show. I will still be doing a Scottish TMD - and to show faith in my dream I have bought four new Eastfield 37's!

Are they the Rails limited editions?

Just out of interest Dave what do you do to your 37s? Obviously you respray them, but do you fit etches or what?

Thanks,
Dave
