I'm very much over 30, but perhaps didn't have a TV at that time. Nice pins on the model, though !!!
Thanks, Gavin.

Now back to Dave's layout and his nifty carpentry.

Thanks for the top tip Gav and oh yes, I remember shake'n'vac only too well!! Upon inspection of track today and my ballast had these almost clear blobs of PVA everywhere!! I've managed to get rid on the big bits.
Gave some loco's a second coat of primer today and will begin to mask up for painting.

Both locos are fully sprayed up. Have been tackling the ballasting and finding that clumps are not adhering - having to change the amount of ballast I initially put down and the consistancy of PVA mix. Bought a syringe and coloured scatter to liven up the ballast only look of the layout!
Started well on the bridge sides (pics to come in Work bench thread) and P&E making slow progress. Works foreman reports progress on 37408 is going well but engineers are examining wiring problems. Paintshop has a 37 in for new Highland Freight livery trials.

Currently how it looks - been spending *ages* doing laborious ballasting. Slowly I'm getting there.

Thanks guys.
Yep, I've been a bit quiet lately what with one thing and another, but I'm still hanging in there!
Photography takes me out of the house and away from it all, which unfortunately includes the layout!
There will be an update on the website soon as I have a load more new pics of (real) Eastfield locos to post up.

Looking good, can't wait to see some of those newly painted locos running on it. Do you have a source for the Eastfield Scottie dogs for the sides?

Yes Stuart; Fox transfers. Nice and crisp waterslide transfers.

That ballast looks great. I was thinking of doing something similar, I will have to try it.
