Yes, Tony. I bought them off a company who sells them on fleabay. £1.99 for three different ones (incl. P&P). The T & J Harrison one (and others of members of my family) I printed myself.

I did wonder. These were also produced by Kenline in the 1950s as wood / card / white metal kits. They made the same van as the L&Y fish but in its later LMS livery. These very occasionally come up on eBay but are quite difficult to make as the card has to be cut very carefully and built up by layers to achieve realistic surface detail.

Here are some I bought with some I made with the 'help' of the grandchildren. They love it when they see 'their' wagons travel n the layout.

Thanks PLB. It's a fun railway with 'snapshots from my life'.

Is there going to be WAR? It is late evening. An LSWR locomotive the level crossing near Marston's Scrap Yard with an aircraft from Blackburn Aircraft Works, Roundhay. Everything is in a hurry. The aircraft hasn't been covered over.

I hope they don't either.

When I was a 'nipper' living in Leeds, I heard many a story of the Germans bombing Marsh Lane Goods Yard. No sooner had the yard been repaired, over would 'pop' Jerry and try and flatten it again. Over the road from Marsh Lane was 'The Woodpecker Inn'. In 1940 the Inn received a direct hit.
The Inn was rebuilt (The locals must have been a thirsty lot. ) On subsequent raids the Woodpecker received many pieces of shrapnel. Some pieces were still there in 1960s (and possibly until it was pulled down late 80s?)

The Landlord at the Crown & Anchor across the road from Sovereign Street may be a little apprehensive.

I used to pass the pub virtually every day, but never went in it.
