Another vote for AnyRail from me - great for designing and then printing out at full size. What I like with AnyRail (that I hadn't thought of) is that it shows that what you think can fit with reasonable radius curves.........you actually can't..........and that's best to find out on your computer screen!

kebang.....I have literally lost the last day and a half playing around on SCARM...it's a brilliant piece of software - completely addictive. Though not entirely sure on the track geometry for the Hornby high speed points between the second and third radius bends !!!. Setting that aside, l am very impressed with it. Cheers for 'point' in the right direction
Also, I opted for the 18mm exterior grade plywood for the baseboard (rightly or wrongly). Formwork is being built up in the next few days, so hopefully getting track arrangement down in the coming weeks....if l can drag myself away from SCARM.
