Very lightweight legs

Post by Kentishman »

You may find the following photo of interest, it shows a novel use of plastic waste pipe for supporting a layout. This particular layout was at the Uckfield show on the 20th October 2012, and I also saw it at Romford on the 6th October 2012. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the layout which was OO, steam era and very high quality.

Ingenious! but perhaps a little expensive. If you know where to scrounge them the cardboard tubes that they roll cloth onto make a pretty substantial table leg.
Growing old, can't avoid it. Growing up, forget it!

The layout was Sandford and Banwell in 4mm/ft scale 18.83mm gauge P4.
