Pre-built. £50 for the two! Wiring is all done apart from a few little things that need connecting up. I need a controller and train which I'll get soon to test it all, they're a bit of a project and I've never done any modelling on a railway before so I'm quite excited! I'm used to Photoshopping images so I'm good with blending, just not sure how that'll work in real life but I'll give it a go!
So, are there any wiring experts on here? I will post pictures of it all soon but I thought I'd say hi and show you a couple of pictures of the scenery. https://www.instagram.com/p/BeA1qLGFOWr/
I think my valuation of them together may be correct, at least in terms of costs to potentially build it myself! I have a few ideas for the complete circuit one, including redoing the water, sand (from the beach, balls to paying for it) and making a shunting yard. I'm happy that it's a somewhat abandoned theme as I love urban exploration anyway!
Thanks
So....I bought 2 layouts.
Re: So....I bought 2 layouts.
Very nice. Is not easy to see on the photos where the track all goes. Would be easier if you could draw a track plan of them maybe? Nothing too elaborate. There are many of us who can give wiring advice. I see the first PIC shows some rather nice Peco point switches in their holder.
Flashbang is an expert in here as he writes in a very clear and understandable way. He also knows a lot about electronics far beyond the wiring up to get our trains to work!

Ooh good idea! Thanks. I'm away for a few days but when I'm back I'll get on with doing a track plan. As well as talking through what I'm gonna do as I'll need modelling advice and such. Wiring wise I'll have a chat with that user, as to be honest even wiring diagrams confuse me haha.

Welcome to the forum, as Mountain said Flashbang is the man for electrical knowledge, you will find much of his wisdom published on his website https://www.brian-lambert.co.uk/index.html. Check it out, I'm sure it will save you asking a whole load of questions.

Thanks guys currently still bumbling around with trying to find a decent starter set, or a loco and controller to test! Will compile everything when I'm back home, away for a few days atm.
