Cumbrian Mountain Express

Postby michaelasc » Tue May 26, 2015 1:37 am

Just took delivery of Graham Farish 370-500 Cumbrian Mountain Express Train Pack. It has a maroon 46229 along with 3 Blue / Grey Mk1 coaches and a model of Ais Gill Signal Box.

I already own 4 of the new duchesses and the one in this pack is the best of the lot. It runs so smooth and quiet. All in all for £109.76 ex-VAT for shipment to USA I think it is superb value. I paid that for a single duchess on its own so to get another one, 3 coaches and a signal box that is great value for money.

Also, it comes in a special collectors box complete with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Mine overheated after five minutes, melted the bogie and burnt my hand removing it from the track. Presently at Bachmann waiting for something to be done, glad I was present in the room because the Fire Station is not yet built.
Enjoying the ride playing trains like never before. Building a model railway but not too specialised.

Sorry you had that bad experience. As I mentioned in my earlier post the one that I got is superb, probably one of the sweetest running steam locos I have

Exchange it and I'm sure you'll get a good one in return
