I could have said Ugliest loco ever? a 66, with vomit design?

Personally G, I have no issue with kids doing this kind of thing, we have some assets at work that have been painted similarly, but it's still bloomin ugly!
Whoo, new job... big pay cut... but new job! yay

I dont think its any more ugly than a multi colour livery that a design expert has charged thousands of pounds to produce. I quite like it in its own way. If I modelled present day i'd buy one.

I assume it's a limited eddition, I hope it's limited to one and i never see it ever again!

Perhaps it's the old acid head in me, but I rather like it - is there a prototype? Much nicer than blue diesels.

Poliss You do have to feel sorry for that loco, not only is it ugly, the blurb says it's bi=polar as well. Perhaps it should be refered to the shrink.

If it is DCC Sound - what would the pre-programmed musical number as it whizzes around your layout? "I'm a barbie Girl........"

I DO like it, then! Altho' the yellow ends do detract from the overall look - should be black I think.

Nah, it should have a big happy face drawn on the front. ;)

Grahame wrote:Personally I don't think that it's that bad. After all it was designed by a child in a competition and was reproduced on the real loco as the winning entry. It's bright and colourful, says something ('day' on one side and 'night' on the other), doesn't promote an insidious corporate image, sits quite well on the loco and makes a change from some of the tosh output by expensive professional design houses.

Definately NOT ugly.

G.

Agree entirely Grahame. The passenger TOCs could learn a lesson or two here. London Midland with its black, grey and a bit of vivid green ... now that is ugly.
