Hahaha I do hope not. I always give a strict list when it comes to birthdays/xmas of train related purchases.

Personally I don't think that it's that bad. After all it was designed by a child in a competition and was reproduced on the real loco as the winning entry. It's bright and colourful, says something ('day' on one side and 'night' on the other), doesn't promote an insidious corporate image, sits quite well on the loco and makes a change from some of the tosh output by expensive professional design houses.

Definately NOT ugly.

It may not be pretty but there's definately some serious craftsmanship gone into it

I'd love to have one in N scale, but they are very rare and expensive.

Actually, I rather like it. It's on my wish list and as long as I get another job soon and they don't sell out in the meantime, one will be winging its way in my direction. It's different, unusual and it's a 66!

I think this is a bit unfair, its a GOOD model of an ugly PROTOTYPE. I heard it was a school compo winner or something and is known as kiddie livery. But damb... it is a bit uh... fruity 8)
