I had heard November for the GF buses but there has been very little in the way of announcements on these. I'm eagerly awaiting the Leyland National and Atlantean for my Hertfordshire-inspired layout.

Still no sign of these new farish buses and coaches yet. Looks like a 2012 delivery :(

Well here they are (apologies for bad photos):

The printing is as good as Oxford, and for those who wish to repaint, they do come apart. They have been well worth the wait IMO.

My local model shop. If you go to Bachmann's site those that have arrived are listed as arrived. Hattons aren't always the first to get everything!

It's a shame, as they are very nicely finished and of British buses so desparately required, but it looks like they've all been made far too small for British 1:148 scale and scale out at 1:160 or worse. Just how could they have made such a mistake; a bit like Ixion with their oversized GWR loco?

Yep, they'll probably sell to those who don't know, don't realise or don't care.

They certainly look fine, in fact the finish is superb, but they look small and when placed against a correctly scaled bus they are obviously tiny. The doors on the Bristol VRT are only a scale 5ft 3ins high; must be for especially little passengers. Perhaps they're just for use as school buses. :P
