N'spirations

Postby Grahame » Thu Aug 18, 2011 12:53 pm

A new issue of N'spirations is now available. This is an A5 all colour magazine exclusively about British 1:148 N gauge. Issue #5 is the latest copy just published. Copies can be obtained;

* Through ebay with payment by Paypal (occassionally when batches are listed)

* By mail order with a cheque for £3 (includes P&P) made payable to Mr G Hedges and sent to 19 Grasmere Way, BYFLEET, Surrey, KT14 7BX (Don't forget to include your address).

* Directly from a number of specialist traders/dealers including the N Gauge Society. Please note that these will probably not be available from the traders until at The International N Gauge Show (10/11th September at Leamington). The plan was to launch N'spirations5 at TINGS so the bulk will be available there from the usual traders.

Just a quick update for those interested and apologies for what may look like self promotion.

Issue #5 is now sold out directly from me although some of the regular stockists may still have copies left; Osborns, BHE, Townfoot, N Gauge Society, Plus Daughters and N'tastic/CRS.

Issue #6 is getting close to completion and it is hoped to be available early in the new year (including from the NGS stand at the St Albans exhibition);

In the meantime there is an annual style 'Yearbook' available. A batch is currently on ebay; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0821224066

The batch listed seems to have sold out already. Fortunately Grahame has listed another batch here.

Thanks for this excellent mag Grahame, I am sure I will enjoy this issue as much as previous ones. :)

Class 33s can be picked up quite cheap secondhand these days.

I actually send and pay for second class postage (large letter rate 101g - 250g is £0.92 as small letters only go up to 100g) by putting two 46p stamps on and the majority seem to get delivered the following day. I think it's because co-incidentally the first class rate for letters up to 100g is 46p and when they see two 46p stamps........... :D
