I expect a Freightliner class 70 will blow in before a Tornado. :P

Dapol now have some of their 2011 releases on their web site. I say "some", because as I understand it, they now have a policy of not announcing some of their releases until they are almost on their way to the shops.

Okay, we now know what people want this year and we know Dapols forthcoming plans but what do you realistically think that Farish will announce and/or produce this year? And would be prepared to back their tips.

For me it's;

* D&E - class 101, class 03, class 20, Freightliner class 70
* Kettles - Tornado, BR class/type standard 5, A3/4

I wouldn't bet against you Grahame...I'd make a couple of tweaks though

diesel - 03, 25, 70, 101
Steam - Std 4 4-6-0, A3, A4

A couple of variants of the EWS Class 60 with different numbers would be nice as models of 60052 seems to be drying up :(.

I'll second the above, A class 70 would be welcome, so would be Tornado, and the A3/4 just needs a better up to date model to compete with Dapols Brits IMO

I'd still like to see a Class 185, although I reckon the chances are slim to be honest...

I think you are probably right (some are already announced eg 03). Possibly a 4 CEP or EPB shrunk down?

No-one seems to have picked up that I mentioned a class 20; I've had a pretty reliable nod about FarBack working on one. It could be their next upgraded model from the old Farish D&E range.

Oddly enough, I'd quite like a class 20 or two.There's something about them that appeals to me. Dunno what it is, but they seem to have real character. Do you think we'll get the disc headcode variant?

Definately!!

It all seems to be BR blue or green and not much else at the moment,

33 in Dutch
37 in Transrail
37 in Coal
37 in Dutch
47 in Intercity
47 in Parcels
60 in Trainline
60 in Loadhaul
60 in EWS

There are so many liveries they can do, Railfreight, Railfreight red stripe Railfreight, Sectors, EWS and all the other private rail companies.

There also needs to be more NSE models - locos, DMUs and coaches.

The locos I'm hoping for to be updated are 20, 25, 50 and 56, all in multiple liveries.
