Hey all, has anyone bought one of these? If so what do you think? would you recommend it?

Excellent loco. The only real fault is the headcode discs are a litlte thick, other than that I fully recommend it!

Thanks very much! Looks like a definite purchase then! I heard that the head code covers have to be fitted by the user, is this true? I've only seen it mentioned once...

Hi jack
Yes they have to be fitted by the modeller.I had one in blue,excellent runner and looks the part.However did not fit in with my layout so sold.

TPM do photoetch headcode discs so would imagine these are nearer to scale.

I have not seen it mentioned on the forum but if it has been then i apologise, The Signalbox in Rochester have commissioned the RTC 24 97201 Experiment in N and taking pre orders for it now, also they have commissioned test car 5 and 10 in N using the new MK1s and also taking pre orders.
