I'll be keeping them. They are not that bad. If I need more I'll get the new type but farish mk1 coaches are like AK47 rifles, just because theres newer kit doesn't mean they will disappear over night.

They're not designated "Blue Riband" in the catalogue or on the web site, so I believe this means they are from pre-2000 tooling.

Actually, 374-181 don't seem to be listed in the catalogue or the web site at all.

Is it an error then, that this isn't designated "blue riband"?

I did a quick check on here and the new tooling Mk.1s are SO, SK, BSK, and CK

As to whether it's an error that the FK isn't listed as Blue Riband... bear in mind it's designed to match the earlier Mk.1s...

374-156a is certainly the old moulding - you can tell by the basic crude underframe. Somehow I doubt that any of the newly announced Mk1s will be pictured finished and advertised yet as so far the only pics/display have been of them unpainted. All those in the brochure (and presumably on the website) are the old version currently in shops or on their way.

The current blue riband coaches are the Mk1 Pullmans, Mk1 Suburbans and Stainers ranges. They all have detailed underframes and separate fittings (such as wire tank filler pipes) and separate window glazing (apart for the Suburbans I believe). The new Mk1s (on display unpainted at Ally Pally) will have new fully detailed underframes, etched rubbing plates, wire filler pipes, correct roof profile, new better detailed bogies, interior details and separate glazing.
