If your down this way I highly recommend a visit to Model Railway Solutions, Alder Hills, Bournemouth. Very well stocked, friendly staff and loads of secondhand stuff. They also take online orders.
I popped in there today to pick up some paint and enquired whether they had and scrap points as I'm planning to build a small diorama and don't want to spend out out good stuff. I was shown a large box of secondhand points and given three sets of perfectly good working ones, when I asked how much the reply was “you can have them, no charge” I offered a donation to the tea fund but that was refused too. How often do you get service like that !
