Model shop in Holsworthy Devon

Postby Bigmet » Sat Jul 04, 2015 5:53 pm

Complete surprise, had no idea there was a model shop in this small village. Right on the market square, free parking outside. (If it's busy then Waitrose car park is barely five minutes away.) The name 'Anything Narrow Gauge' might have thrown me off the scent, but they do keep a reasonable stock of OO and N, new and s/h; in addition to the 10mm live steam that appears to be the owner's first love. Friendly, good service, lots of joshing with local customers - four different people turned up in the fifteen minutes I was in the shop - take a look if you are in North Devon. (Only found it because I wanted the post office after a visit to the ever excellent Mole Valley Varmers moi dear, also in Oleswoorthy.)

Now there's a surprise, I recently spent a few days break in Bradworthy, if I'd have known about it, I would have paid a visit - they don't seem to promote themselves very widely.
