Bonjour !

Postby Beynac » Sat Mar 25, 2017 10:51 am

Hello,
My name is Pierre and I live in France. I'm a huge fan of 00 but unfortunately I'm a real newbie in this gauge. I must learn a lot and this forum seems to be the right place. Anyway, I'm very proud to be a new member of this forum. Regards,
Pierre

Welcome to the forum. It's not so surprising that someone from France has no experience of 00, it's just another British illogicality :D

Bonjour Pierre!
Bienvenue sur le forum, J'espère que vous avez de bons temps ici.
Mais sûrement vous devriez aimer H0 échelle?
Amicalement,
John.

PS I used to live in the Lot et Garonne!

Thanks John. I live in a small village in Dordogne. Maybe we're Neighbors. :D
I'm also playing with H0 trains and fortunately it's the same track for 00 gauge.
I stole this wonderful idea for my first 00 layout.

You're welcome! De rien!
Ah, Dordogne! The Geriatric ward with trees! (because of all the retired English living there!?! Although a lot of them may no longer be there now?).
Welcome aboard anyway, glad you like all forms of 16.5mm modelling!
Cheers,
John.
