Greetings new to the forum

Postby Madcaravanner » Sat Jan 21, 2017 9:36 am

Hi guys and gals
I have been railway modelling since the 50's , well my mum used to work in a toy shop so Triang was there as soon as new stuff came in the shop
We had the first Wrenn locomotives

I do wish I had that availability now

But this year I am rebuilding my 20 foot by 12 foot layout by
Re-wiring for dcc
Changing a little bit to improve storage Sidings
Changing all lights to LED
Going to need a few newer locomotives too (just retired a Britannia a Margate built Triang )

So I model early 1960's Midland /Eastern Regions crossover
Most of my buildings are scratchbuilt having replaced earlier bought in kits

So now I will probably need help with dcc
Looking forward to reading and helping where I can
Regards

Gray

That's cool, or resize in a picture manipulation software tool, to no bigger than 799 pixels wide and then they will fit on here.
You might like to start a Personal Layouts - Under Construction and put them in there.

Hi Gray and welcome to the forum. :)
To quickly resize a picture...
Right click on picture and select OPEN WITH PAINT.
Once picture opens in paint press Ctrl + W keys.
Choose a % for the top 2 boxes and click on OK.
I usually use the same % for both boxes.
Quick rough and ready resizing :)
I hope it helps and look forward to seeing your layout.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum :)

if you find it easier you can upload photos to services like Flicker, they will then resize it and give you the forum code to embed the image into your posts.
