Hello, I've just signed on.

Hi, I'm 69 years old and interested in OO Modern Image railways. I built a twin track layout in my loft about 10 ft square around operating a Passenger Line, a Freight Line and shunting sidings and factory. I'm in the process of moving it to a garden shed as I struggle with the loft ladders. The new layout will be 10 ft 8 inches by 4 ft with a sitting area on one side. I'll try to post some pics. Kind regards, Geoff.

Welcome Geoff - judging by what you've got already I expect you'll be giving advice rather than seeking it.

Looking forward to seeing the new build take shape - presumably not continuous with now having only 4ft available?

Thanks Guys, It's not only 4 ft wide but 10ft 8in long, so room for a twin track dog bone shaped layout. I'll post pics soon. Regards.

Hi Geoff I'm yet another of the mid 40s generation. I gave up the loft about 10 years ago, know what you mean. Look forward to seeing your relocated layout.
