From USA -- Not being able to wander into a UK hobby shop ----Does anyone know if the decals provided with the new Peco-Parkside OO wagon kits are the same as those offered by Model Master Jackson decals. Especially the ex-GWR wagons.
Thanks

George, my answer has to be I don't know, but are you asking about the type, waterslide, methfix etc. or are they the same sets, numbers, letter styles etc. Have you tried Peco, you can ask them on their website and somebody usually answers eventually. Life proceeds at a slower pace down there on the Devon - Dorset border

I can't be certain, however Jim at Modelmaster once told me that he
was contracted to supply Peco with his sheets for the Peco branded
Parkside wagons because of their marketing requirement of supplying
a 'complete' kit in the packet.
I know Modelmaster have had problems over the last few years with
an inability to produce enough for their own sales resulting in excessive
delays. I have always thought this is due to fulfilling Peco's requirement.
My only recent Parkside kit purchases have been the latest PC90 wagons
and the included sheets have a definite Modelmaster feel about them and
have gone on well.

Railtec my be worth a (virtual) visit. Very nice transfers, and offer variations applied over time in many cases. Not relevant here, but custom TOPS panels are a bonus https://www.railtec-models.com/

Thanks for the comments. I have written to Peco with the question and will share their reply when/if I get a reply.
