I am currently making a commercial building with a small yard for deliveries using Austin K8 35cwt vans. So that the yard will be of a credible size with regard to vehicles manoeuvring to access its loading bays etc., I need to have some idea of the overall dimensions of these vehicles. Can anyone with a model of one or any 35cwt van for that matter give me an idea of the size, please?
Have you checked the Hattons web site? They usually have one photo with the model next to a ruler to give an indication of the item's size. I don't have an Austin K8 to hand, but I do have the Oxford Diecast 00 Commer Q25 which measures 60mm x 25mm if that helps.
4472, GeoFFO3 - Thank you for your replies Gentlemen. My project is 1/76 scale but having taken your advice re Hattons GeoFF and found exactly what I wanted, I see the error of my ways in seeking the specifications of the 1/1 scale item elsewhere online! Once again, Thanks to both.
