Loco drive Britannia’s

Postby Brummyrlb » Mon Nov 06, 2017 12:03 pm

Does anyone have a loco drive Britannia tender ( the original Brit tender ) for a high sided one ( as per 70045 onwards ) ? . I’m seeking to swap a i d but I need the smaller tender . Just hoping someone might want the high sided one !

Since no one else has answered. The Britannias vary in detail quite significantly, so rather than a tender swap, you might also consider a complete loco exchange: your example from the 70045 - 54 group with BR1D, for a 70000 - 24, 70030-44 group with BR1, or 70025 - 29 group with BR1A, whichever of those versions you may be after. Hornby were pretty careful to match the details of the versions they made, and potential exchangers may want to be sure of having a correct combination.
