MINIATUR WUNDERLAND Google street view 360 Video

About a year ago, Google Street Maps took the the camera van to Germany, shrank it, and set it off on the biggest Model Railway in the world!

Miniatur-Wunderland Hamburg

The result is 360 views directly on the layout. For those like me, who have a visit to Miniature Wonderland on their bucket list, this site allows a great preview in the mean time.
There are some static points to view, chosen by area of the layout and a few you can drive along the track.

If you've never been, I can highly recommend it, but allow plenty of time. Even my non-train orientated companions thought it was incredible. The behind the scenes tour is well worth paying the extra for as well.

Thanks Gerald, I will remember that, you can find video's on youtube of the backscenes, they do updates of the engineering behind creating new bits
It would probably be a four day trip with 2 days sightseeing and two days for the railway!

Did Hamburg and MWL about four years ago. Brill. Do go if youre able. Book tickets in advance on line and you skip the queues. We went in early December and also did the many Hamburg Christmas markets, which are all well worth visiting especially the larger one outside the Rathaus (town hall).
Broken? It was working correctly when I left it.
