I know about the Alsager Club but I keep seeing bits and pieces about a Crewe Club and living in Crewe this interests me but a google search brings up little detail and no contacts or venues?

Any one know any more?

There's a name and a telephone number, what more do you need?

If you are really interested, all that you have to do as Bigmet has said, is to ring the number provided and you should get all the information that you need.

Tom, no disrespect but, you are being a bit naive if you expect every model railway club to post those details for all to see. One of the biggest problems facing any club who have their own premises is should they publish where they are and when they meet, or looking at it differently, where they are and when there's no one there. One of the biggest clubs publish which factory estate their club rooms are on, you either have to contact them for the unit number, or go there and sus it out. The unit is marked only by a symbol, that appears on their letterheads and should be recognisable to most railway enthusiasts. As you have discovered others just give a phone number and will pass on the details when they have spoken to you. It's not that they don't welcome you, it's the other sort of visitors they don't want to invite. Getting your name and address then sending you the details offers a bit more security, and some traceability.
Give 'em a ring and talk to them, I'm sure they will be pleased to hear from you.

Hi all,
I went to the event yesterday, met a few Crewe club members and now know where, when and how to get there and so will be visiting soon.
Its less than a mile away, who knew!
