Re: Lumsdonia Website and YouTube Updates
My Youtube Channel is finally get some traction (a lot to do with a more open subject about Dremels in VidBit 17 that appeals to a wider audience and more readily found in searches).
So I now have over 500 subs (followers)
Tis traditional to do a competition (or at least special video) when round numbers are hit (100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, etc), as a "thankyou" for the subscribers
I ran one at 100 and have just released my 500 subs giveaway competition!
You can join in and enter too!

Lumsdonia link suggestion
Writing from the USA. Your website "links" are especially helpful for finding UK stuff by us OO types not in the UK. Thanks for your efforts.
I found a "vehicle" link you may wish to add. I've built a couple of their kits and they're quite nice.

Re: Lumsdonia Website and YouTube Updates
I can sympathize with Pete. Frustrating! Haha! I remember not having any troubles when running older stock such as Lima and older Hornby on DC , but the modern small more flexible couplings are not as reliable (I personally think the flixed solid Mainline sized couplings are better without using NEM pockets as NEM pockets add undesirable flex would be the best answer...)
But also DCC adds an extra dimention to the complexity of things. Yes, DCC certainly eliminates half the wiring, but in operation I found any wire dissconnected or any short circuit far easier to trace then with DCC, and if one designs ones cab control panel to be user friendly I find it easier to operate with DC. However with many operators running trains at the same time DCC does have advantages... But if one only has three or less operators I have to say that DC has the advantage overall in its simplicity even though the bulk of wiring to be done one may not think so. But horses for courses.
Petes layout would need a lorry to transport it. I never forget seeing a similar sized N gauge exhibition layout and they told me they had one small lorry (The largest one could drive on the older car licences) and one very large van just for this one layout.
It is surprizing how much space even small layouts take if one tries to fit them in a car. I reacon I can fit up to a max of three boards which are 3 1/2 ft x 2 ft in my car. (I have not built scenery or backscenes yet so it may only be two boards that will fit, but I am hoping for three).

He is a millionaire! The cost of a lorry/van is probably not an issue! Even the entrance fee will go to the cathedral, so he has paid for the whole sheebang and wont profit from it

I haven't got a big enough fireplace for anymore log-ins.
