The perfect home for sale...
Re: The perfect home for sale...
You're right - its almost worth moving across the pond for. I don't like the look of the tunnels though - a bit narrow and low for my liking.

Face by God & Rugby. God put the good bits in and playing Rugby moved them around and made them 'interesting.'

The photo of the train crossing the bridge and the steam locomotives looks like Tom Larsen's residence. He also has a massive indoor largescale railroad (1/20.3 scale) on which he spent many hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Correction to above. The residence belongs to Tom Miller. The price is just for the basics. Anything movable is not included. Best estimate is a starting price around $5.5 million to get started.
The indoor 1/20.3 scale railroad is housed in its own specifically designed building and is huge, very, very big. Most likely the best narrow gauge model railroad in the States. The state of Oregon has land taxes payable monthly and apparently the monthly land tax bill would exceed your average mortgage. On top of this you would need a full time ganger to maintain the line and gardens. This is one for dreamers or the very rich trying to launder some cash.

Only 3.5 bathrooms? I wouldn't have it.. unless something was knocked off for the half a bathroom that implies it isn't finished. Don't fancy having to get cowboy builders in to finish it.
Nice trains though.
