LMS TPO brake Stowage Van.

Is there an OO RTR/kit of an LMS TPO brake stowage Van? I'm looking for a brake van for a 1930s 'Night Mail' rake.

Not to sure about stowage brake though, I think sorting brake van could have been mentioned in the narrative!

What I know so far is this Class 6 engine, 340 tons, 12 vehicles 7 of which were sorting vans. apart from the stowage/sorting brake were the other 4 carriages pick up/drop off type? The man said they'd just picked up 7 pouches, so I take it there were several of them.

Yes, BT, there's a kit from 247 Developments:

Looks like you will have to collect the bits for the full kit but perhaps a call will clear that up. I haven't used 247 so I don't know what they're like.

Comet Models do a lot of LMS coach kits but not the TPOs apparently: http://www.cometmodels.co.uk/

Cheers John, this is true, but I'm looking for a brake stowage van. Could this be the holy grail of OO gauge LMS carriages! Find out later in the programme.

Surely there must be something out there somewhere. I don't fancy scratch building one, life's to short, and far too many projects on the back burner.

Ah, to quote John Cleese "I had not fully divined your intentions".

If there is such a thing, Larry Goddard will know: http://larrygoddard.webs.com/

Good luck with your search.
