Lidl soldering station
The conical shape tip did not 'hold' solder very well. It was found to be copper plate on a brass tip. Wondering if I could replace with a copper tip but having no suitable solid copper I rammed on a piece of copper vehicle brake piping, and flattened/shaped the end. Now great, used for a few hours yesterday and when heat adjusted the solder remained on the end, no need to tin/flux continuously. better than the original tip Beeman.
You wo'nt find you 'CAN' unless you 'TRY'.
