Re: railway art thread
The mention of jigsaw -related artwork led me to dig out this from my loft. It is a 1000 piece puzzle of a painting by David Wright, entitled "Summer Showers". (railway art connection!) Not normally my area of expertise, but I have decided to have a dabble.
Re: railway art thread
nice artwork , it would be blackpool central station a significant event in blackpool central stations life was during an RAF air display around WW2 era (1941) two aircraft hit each other during the display and the wreckage of one landed in the concourse of blackpool central station being a holiday there were 12 killed on the ground aswell as aircrew
Re: railway art thread
Thanks for viewing and your history of Blackpool Central Station, Tornado. In its heyday (the station no longer exists) it had 14 platforms, reflecting the towns importance has a holiday destination.

For comparison:
The jigsaw is now at the "sky" stage, several hundred seemingly identical pieces!

If you were to stand where that photograph was taken today would you be in the Coral Island amusement arcade?Roberto wrote:Thanks for viewing and your history of Blackpool Central Station, Tornado. This Signature Left Intentionally Blank, but since I have written this and I intended to do it, this Signature is intentionally not blank. Paradox or What?

pretty much so !! or police station or car park , the track bed is one of the main routes into blackpool as the road to the motorway is built on the tracks old route !!!
Re: railway art thread
I never realised "jigsawing" was so fiddly! Progress is slow.
