I tend to buy from Rails site on ebay these days, I make an offer under the asking price and they accept it, feels like I got a good deal, although in reality I was probably fleeced, they do fix problems though, so I'll stick with them.

Even with accepting the offer (5% - 10% discount) most items are definitely over priced. I am sure that they purposely over price their items expecting that an offer will be made. On a plus at least they have a wide range to choose from. I gave up on them a couple of years ago as goods were just too expensive. I never had a quality issue dealing with them, just the price.

I'd agree with their OO9 stuff, certainly, their starting price for the locos seems to be £149 regardless of the quality!

Probably the reason is the seller has gone on holiday so has "turned off" purchases till he gets back....

Thanks

While not as bad as that example he does seem to have a fair number of wagons listed for silly money

even if you win it for £5 you will still have to pay £6.50 P&P!

It was an empty gesture. I knew he wouldn't take £5 so I was never going to win it, just to point out his audacity.
Limited? Limited interest about sums it up.
I have a lot of limited edition rolling stock and know how much they are worth from the orignal supplier.
Nowhere near that price and usually less than £20 each INCLUDING postage.
