Seems I have a choice of two stores Redditch or Evesham. Might go and have a look at Evesham, Reditch is closer but they charge for parking!

The Range is a fantastic shop, well worth a look.

we moved further away from ours a few years back but we used to pop in every other weekend - it was brilliant for art / DIY supplies for me and no end us bits for the Mrs (teacher).

its about an hour away now but we still pop in when we are going in that direction.

They are opening stores all over. We've had a store close to me since about 2010. First store opened in 1989 believe it or not!

We have "The Works" near here. Reminds me of another shop in the same street which used to have closing down sale all over the windows for several years. When they did finally close down and had a sale I dont think anyone bothered going as no one believed them!

luckymucklebackit wrote:A new retailer has started up called the Range - it describes itself as a "multi-channel variety retailer". Anyhow I was in the East Kilbride store at the weekend and they have the 2mm pasteboard in A1 sheets for £2.99 or 4 for £10, perfect for card buildings, they also have a lot of "craft" products that could find there way onto modelling projects.

I have use their Docrafts acrylic paint, and the pigment is good, and seem good value for money. I have even used them diluted in an airbrush.

Not much they can do about that, I've had next day delivery stuff sat in our local mail centre for more than 48 hours, in the end I went down and moaned until someone went and found it. Sat on top of the rack with a postit note to our regular postie, (who was on holiday). Sent the wrapper and print outs of my tracking to the dealer and got my "next day" fee refunded.
We are talking about the outfit that hired an out of town self store unit to hide the backlog from Christmas so they could show the MP that there wasn't any in the sorting office.

Theirs a reason for cheap A3s at the moment - they are faulty in that the front end is curved/raised up. Its actually evident at least one of Hattons photos of Minoru - the one with the scale rule where if look at the running plate above the cylinders you can see it (helped by the lining)
