Hattons have Heljan Class 26's for £59 (for semi gloss version) + £61 for other versions (RRP £119.95) & weathered 26 for £65 (RRP £129.95), which looks pretty good, as long as the chassis doesn't try to grow!!!!

All my Heljan diesels have been Hattons bargains. Class 14, 16, 17 and 28 plus Class 128 DPU along with a weathered Bachmann B1. Must have saved a few bob on those. The current 'bargain' Class 26 looks tempting. They are all really good runners at slow speeds (down to a crawl) and so quiet.

I must admit I'm tempted to get a weathered Heljan 26, but what if SLW bring out a new loco like a class 25 or even better a 55,the money I spend on the 26 could go towards buying that!
I'll have to think about this!!!!!

Just picked up a bargain was having a browse around local toy master picked up rail joiners etc etc and on the counter was a bachmann class 44 dcc sound listed at £189.99 I asked the chap what was being done with it he said old stock from the stock room so I said give you £140 for it and he said yes. Brand new just bit of wear on the box . I don't think that's bad
After 23 year gap i am back in the hobby i love and my son of 20 months is following in my foot steps
