Controlling Points on DCC Layout with SELECT?

Postby Disco21 » Sun Dec 25, 2011 8:30 pm

Can it be done?

And if not, how do I control points on my layout - I have 3, soon to be 5 or 6

Hi

The answer hasn't changed since last time you asked this question, but I understand that Hornby are changing their decoders and suggest you read "Hornby accessory decoders " topic in DCC section.

I take it that you or your son have got trains running on the layout.

I'm not sure I've asked previously, but apologies if I did?! Could you point me in the direction of the thread

We have 3 outta 4 train running with a possible decoder issue with the 4th

Hi Disco

Merry Christmas.

To find your posts, click on your name and then show posts and it will show them all.

It can be quite useful looking at replies sent to you. If you look at Flashbang's recent one he gives a link to a Hornby video site which has a video "Point control with the Select", this might answer some of your queries. If you can find the DCC Forum, it might be worth reading the link I gave you "Hornby accessory decoders " which is by people who have at least tried, and may give you more insight.
