what track would you use
is it vunerable to rust

Flexitrack might be a good idea as you get longer lengths and so less joints - just a thought

Isn't flexi track more expensive?
Your right about the joint bit if i can reduce it that would be better as i'm sure i will need to solder some wires on etc if the power drops off.

Not sure about the price, but in N gauge the flexitrack is cheaper than set track pieces.
The main thought was that the longer sections would mean less soldering and less chance of the joints becoming seperated.

Work started today on my garden railway and should up and running as early as tomorrow if i have enough track and don't need to do any soldering etc.

At the moment i'm just seeing what space i have in each loop for sidings etc so it will change.

Thanks Raider,i'm glad finally i've got something in the garden and somewhere to run my trains that have been stuck in a box for months since i done away with my old board layout.

That looks really good, well impressed i have a a wall that runs down the side and part of the back garden could do and a loop from the garage outside
