Daft as it sounds if BR still had steam in the 70's this may have been reilaty as the 9F's would have still been around !

I see that you have poor ernie clearing the leaves off the lines! I bought one with the intention of using the motor bogie as a wickham trolly project but its still burried on the workbench somewhere. I did give it a quick run outside first though.

Sorry lads but as my main PC is knackered you will like me have to wait for the picture of the following running session held on the GGR with the following stock

Class 47 in br green with rake of 11 mk2 blue/greys
class 37 in br blue with rake of 10 mk1's blue grey
class 29 with rake of 6 mk1's blood/custard
class 35 with rake of 6 mk1's blood/custard
class 52 maroon with rake of 10 mk1's blue grey

Update time

Not much to tell really. a few items of rolling stock purchased, along with a couple of loco's off of forum members, cheers lads.

Health issues again have been a major factor for little if any work being done on the GGR this year.
My right knee, which has been playing up for some considerable time finally got to see the surgions knife and aft4er a touch of remedial surgery is now on the way to recovery but now have to wear a knee brace, due to previous operations on the right knee and leg I have started to walk bow legged which is causing other medical problems to arise. Hopefully the knee brace will help me to walk better and possible improve the other problems that have reared their ugly heads over the past years. Only time will tell.

This has meant that I have not been able to have as many days running the GGR as I would have hoped for this year.
