Hi all,
Me and 2 friends decided to start building a Garden Railway in one of our back gardens, all in 0, as the guy who had the best garden already had some 0 gauge stock. He is a keen S&D fan and the rest are keen SR fans, so a southern most stub of the S&D was decided upon. Running from West of Worgret Junction down to West Lulworth - For Lulworth Cove, was chosen as the setting. As me and my other friend slowly caught up with some locos and stock we decided to joint own it under a "spoof" company called "Wonder Rail" which owns and operates locos and trains on behalf of Graham, the garden owner and our own stuff so that he can concentrate more on track work etc. Website for Wonder Rail is linked here and should keep you up to date on our stock and things.
The railway runs on DCC, which we're having teething problems with but hope to sort that soon. We currently run the wonder rail stuff, Collett Goods, Jinty, S&D 7F and a B4 dock tank as well as an LMS Compound, Class 33 and 08 shunter, LNER B1. Owned but not running is a Hymek, LSWR G6, SR Q1 and LBSC Terrier. Stock includes wagons of which are too numerous to mention, a Bulleid set, a set of Gresley teaks, 6 LMS Exley carriages, a Westdale LMS Dining car and 2 kit build LMS carriages to run with the dining car. Some pictures, which are now quite old are available here
Hope you like.
Tom
