Trix brake van

This Trix brake van set me back £1.50. It had been over painted and hand lettered in red and I have since repainted it to resemble a LT brake van.
It's in that weird inbetween HO and OO scale that Twix used and has no running boards. On the plus side it's extremely free running and the moulded tail lamp is a nice touch. I'm assuming it's not based on an actual prototype.

That's a definite Glasdon, Tilbney and Chatlington Central Junction Union Railway brake van. Ideal for allocation to a light railway, could have been acquired from anywhere.

The free rolling, Trix had that licked using a very slippery polymer for chassis mouldings while in Courtauld's ownership.
