Since the outbreak of the pandemic, I've been using the Loch Ness Monster, and other things- like insects, both real and toy, as a metaphor of Covid. Recently, what with the resurgent outbreak, more hospital train services are required to stem the tide, so I was very happy to get this Brawa piece. As to my North American friends, anything with buffers is European, and anything European is British, so that works for me.

Looks about right datewise for the 1919 onward influenza pandemic, which has Covid looking like an 'also ran'.
