That's Hattons truly throwing down the gauntlet to the manufacturers. You are not supplying the goods in the volume we require to sustain our retail business, so we'll take charge of our own destiny. Having had a practice or two, we'll go for a key item on the current railway.

Good timing too, as Dapol's 59 should raise the bar significantly over the Bachmann class 66; and that would have further stimulated the calls that have already been heard for some time for a better 66.

Is there a significant gap in current wagon provision that Hattons might choose to accompany this model?
