Be wary purchasing from this manufacturer (not that there is anything wrong with the product) in that the locomotives were offered as both body kits only or factory ready to run. I have seen many listed on evilbay that were customer finished and quite often the condition is less than reasonable.
On the plus side the manufacturer once offered locomotive bodies that the mainstream manufacturers had neglected, although these days the manufacturers have released many of the models that Silver Fox had previously released. The mouldings, while very good, simply do not hold up to current injected moulded bodies from the mainstream manufacturers.
For an obscure model the manufacturer has its place in releasing models that others have not.
