Malapropism - Hey it's me was supposed to be getting the dictionary for Christmas!
I'm satisfied it was he, and so far no flood of posts either for or against, perhaps a bit of a non story really.

I can offer you endless entertainment of this variety:

Construct a sentence correctly employing the term 'monopsony' (monopsonist or monopsonistic would be acceptable alternatives).

I worked for one of the three big manufacturers of a household product range, between the three, they had a monopoly of the market against the smaller competitors, but the few big buyers (the superstore chains) still held a monopsony over all three with an oligopolic hold on them!
