LNER P2
I have the Hornby "C**k O The North" LNER loco, but did they ever produce a P2 model variant with the streamlined A4-style front? Seem to remember talk of it at the time of the release of "CotN"
Re: LNER P2
No, but. The chassis block casting is profiled to take the Bugatti front end treatment, so presumably it is 'in the bank' for future exploitation, but not for a few years yet, what with the present cornucopia of large LNER types on the way. Alternatively there are plenty of A4 body shells available for a DIY 'nose job'.

What do I know? Hornby have a newly tooled streamlined P2 in their 2021 announcement. So for any that don't fancy the DIY job, start saving now...

Latest Hornby Engine shed with renders of the initial tranche of P2s (there's a whole lot of other stuff too!)

My only question for Hornby is will the streamlined version be produced in BR late crest lined brunswick green (alternative history territory). I am prepared to add the 9MT rating to the cab side sheets myself...
